No. quips runs on Solana devnet, where SOL is free test money from faucet.solana.com and coins have no value. Mainnet isn't live.
No. If you can send a text, you can launch a coin. You need a Solana wallet (Phantom or Solflare) switched to devnet.
No. Drafts come from Claude Opus 5.5 on our side, with an hourly limit per visitor. If the AI is switched off or busy, the app drafts with simple offline rules instead and says so.
You pick a fee from 1% to 5% when you launch. It's charged on every buy and sell, held in the coin's curve account, and only your wallet can claim it, from My coins or the coin page. quips takes no cut.
When 4 SOL is in its curve, buys on the curve close and sells stay open, so nobody is stuck. On mainnet, graduation would move liquidity to a DEX; this devnet version doesn't do that step.
It starts a new chat from a coin's name, ticker and description. The coin you launch is yours, and so are its fees. It only keeps a link to the original.
No. Anything calling itself the quips token isn't us.
The program is on devnet at A2S8f…JGNo. Supply is fixed, the fee can't change after launch, and only the creator can claim.
